NOTE: The training methods herien are not methods that I personally invented. They are a collection of methods that I have learned first hand from other dog handlers and/or trainers and have found to be useful knowledge.
Some of the methods described are methods that I just find interesting, but have only observed or been told work well. In some cases I may have modified a particular method somewhat in consideration of available training materials and/or specific conditions.
One should note that what works on one dog may not work on another. Nothing is carved in stone! There may be several good ways to come to the same result. Training is a dynamic process that requires, thought, strategic planning, anticipation, and flexibility.
Training a versatile hunting dog requires, time, hard work, and above all, patience.

"A good handler finds what works and sticks with it" ; "A great handler is constantly evaluating the dog and is willing to make a change."
In a nut shell: " Sometimes it's not the students behavior that needs to be changed but the teachers."
